Medical Representative (Different Areas)

Medical sales representatives are a key link between medical and pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals.

As a rep, you’ll sell your company’s products, which include medicines, prescription drugs and medical equipment, to a variety of customers including general practitioners (GPs), hospital doctors, pharmacists and nurses. You will work strategically to increase the awareness and use of your company’s pharmaceutical and medical products.

Duties of the Sales Representative include:

  • Organizing meeting with doctors and healthcare professionals according to his daily and monthly schedule
  • Presentation and demonstration of company products to healthcare professionals and doctors
  • Find new opportunities to grow company products
  • Fulfill requirements of healthcare professions and answering queries, and handling complains
  • Reviewing sale and stock availability
  • Achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly sales target
  • Maintaining relationships with Doctor and Healthcare professionals
  • Reporting daily activities on CRM system
  • Keeping detailed record of contacts
  • Regular attending monthly, quarterly and yearly meeting of company
  • Keeping up to date about company products, services and schemes
  • Monitoring activities, products and services of competitors
  • Giving feedback to marketing department about competitor activities
  • Attending regular training programs for updating medical as well as pharmaceutical knowledge
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
  • Flexibility towards change

Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or related field.
  • Experience in sales; 1 -3 years of experience in similar job.
